Our Alberta service area extends in every direction—from northern Alberta communities including Fort McMurray and Grande Prairie, through the central Alberta corridor of Edmonton, Red Deer, and all the surrounding towns, down to southern Alberta with Calgary, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, and everything in between. The size or location of your community has no impact as to whether we can work with you, just the right projects and a good fit.

While Alberta is our home base and primary service area, we're not limited to the provincial border. The Matterport Pro3 combines high-resolution imaging with LiDAR spatial capture to produce detailed, photorealistic digital twins while accurately recording the dimensions and spatial relationships of the environment. It delivers 134.2-megapixel panoramic imagery and dimensional accuracy of approximately ±20 mm at a 10-metre range. It's combination of visual quality, spatial accuracy, scanning speed, and range makes the Pro3 particularly well suited to creating detailed digital representations of everything from individual businesses to large and complex environments.

A major advantage is its ability to capture outdoor environments. The Pro3 uses LiDAR scanning technology rather than relying on projected light or other depth-sensing methods that can be affected by imperfect light exposure levels. Its LiDAR sensor is capable of taking up to 1.5 million measurement points per scan (100,000 points per second) in conditions ranging from low light to direct sunlight. This allows the Pro3, along with Matterport software, to create a single high-quality model that includes outdoor areas.

Yes. Remote and rural locations are absolutely within our service area. We can work with you ahead of the project to determine the best way to locate and access your property and make the necessary arrangements for the capture.

Our equipment is relatively compact and lightweight, making it practical to transport to locations that may be farther from major centres or more difficult to access. As long as we can safely reach and operate within the space, we can generally find a way to make the project work.

For projects within Alberta, Impression VTS makes every effort to incorporate travel into the quoted project price rather than adding a separate travel charge. Where practical, we coordinate projects in the same geographic area within a similar timeframe to help manage travel costs.

Projects outside Alberta will generally include applicable travel expenses as part of the project quote. We'll discuss those requirements with you before the project proceeds so there are no surprises when you receive your quote.
